  • Almost everyone has some addictive pattern. Any reflexive response to stress or anxiety wether conscious or not is a form of addiction. Breaking the tyranny of addiction will require one to feel the pain that addiction defends against. No wonder then that addictive patterns have such staying power as flimsy faultering defense againt primal wound.
    - James Hollis
